DeDiXa0WkAEoSRG This exhibition invites its audience to look more closely at incidental mark making of doodles, the simple beauty of a to-do list, colour coding, setting out of information, work plans on the back of an envelope and so on, in order to appreciate their unassuming simplicity and visual qualities.

Included are images of to-do lists, working plans and visual problem solving, diagrams and doodles, whether on scrap paper, the back of an envelope, in chalk on the ground, or on a 3D object. In most cases, the work selected will not have been originally intended to be an artwork for display.

Cooltsalon‘s very first annual zine is a fact – “Cooltzine” vol.1 will be launched on 12 May 2018, through a one-day only ‘paperless’ exhibition, followed by the actual limited print run. / / / /
The launch will be happening beyond geographical boundaries, simultaneously in 3 different cities! – London (Leyden Gallery), Belgrade (Kvaka 22), Sofia (Cush.BAR)
Copies of the zine will be available at each of the partner venues, while the simultaneous exhibition will consist of vol.1 contributors’ works (photos and photo collages, illustrations, mixed media), presented as a video installation of looped file projection – for one day only, 12:00-23:00. “Official presentation” 18:00-19:30, drinks & cheers until 23:00.
